Courtyard Garden

This is a very tightly packed project for a client that did not want too much work but high impact and easy access for weeding and maintenance. We created island beds which are accessible from all sides and used stone cobbles in a radial arrangement to create a unifying theme, connecting the whole space and draw attention to the central reflecting pool in Corten Steel.
This reflecting pool was raised using an upstand in the cobble pattern to create a sense of drama. Pleached hornbeam Trees screen off views from neighbouring properties helping to create a sense of intimacy within the space.
